Electrically conductive tapes – or ECT – are technical tapes that combine mechanical adhesion with electrical conductivity. They are electricity-conducting tapes.

Gap-filling solutions

What is Teflon ® (PTFE) Adhesive Tape?

Teflon adhesive tape, also known as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tape, is a technical adhesive designed to withstand extreme conditions.

These materials offer exceptional resistance to both heat and cold. Their continuous service temperature ranges from –100 °C to +260 °C, with a melting point of 327 °C.

Fluoroplastics have the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid material, giving them excellent self-lubricating properties.

Outstanding electrical insulation
The stable molecular structure of fluoroplastics makes them virtually unaffected by most industrial chemicals and solvents.

Excellent chemical resistance
Fluoroplastics have the lowest dielectric constant and dissipation factors among all solid materials. They remain stable across a wide range of frequencies and environmental conditions, making them ideal for high-frequency insulation.

Non-stick properties
Adhesives do not easily stick to fluoroplastics, which makes them ideal for release applications. Indeed, it may seem surprising to ask an adhesive to be non-adhesive!

Weather resistance
Fluoroplastics are virtually unaffected by visible and UV light as well as moisture, making them suitable for long-term outdoor use.
